Where did I start?
I started my career in the data centre, handling the server infrastructure before “the cloud” was a thing. From here, I worked my way up not the career ladder but the OSI-model layers. Providing me with a robust foundation in IT systems and change management.
I continued my career by delving into technical consultancy, project management, and IT
operations. Completing my personal “plan, build, run” cycle.
Maybe I should stop making nerdy IT references.
In 2017, I moved my life and career from the heart of Europe to the pearl of the Middle East,
where I would stay for the next six years.
Now fully immersed in Product Management, I started building platform products like payment,
loyalty, and WhatsApp, which thousands of people in the region use. However, I later switched
to building and guiding the product teams to continue the work.
I completed my stint as Product Director, leading a team of talented individuals managing a
billion-dollar B2C product before starting my journey in Product Operations.
Suddenly, my role wasn't about managing products anymore but about managing the whole product
management experience. I PMed the PM experience, making coaching a big part of my role.
Today, I'm back in the heart of Europe, but thanks to the power of technology, I work with
clients from around the world.
